Dentist - Innisfail, Queensland 3660353

Well established general practice in rural Queensland seeks a dentist.

About the practice and the role:

• 3 Chair surgery
• 4-5 days a week (flexible)
• Saturdays are optional
• Preferred provider for multiple health funds
• Providing patients with cosmetic and restorative dentistry, dentures, endodontic treatment, extractions, in chair whitening, crown and bridge work
• Remuneration: Starting at 40% - sliding scale to 42.5 - 45 dependent on output 
• Oasis Dental software, digital x-rays, i/o camera, 3D iMedit scanner, clear aligners, Morita rotary endo
• Very stable support staff, all have been working as DA's for 3+ plus years
• Tight knit community, friendly and loyal patient base
• Principal dentist happy to mentor certain aspects of Dentistry
•  Ideally looking for a minimum 18-24 month commitment.

About you:

• 2+ Years of similar clinical experience, but will consider recent grad
• Interests in wisdom teeth removal, clear aligners and implants (restorative) preferable although not essential
• Comfortable planning and discussing treatment plans with patients
• Knowledge of and proficiency with all aspects of general dentistry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Enjoy working as part of a collaborative team
• Registered with AHPRA (or willing to be), has a current APC and has the right to work in Australia

About the area: Innisfail is a major tropical town in coastal north Queensland with a population of more than 7,000. Set between Cairns and Rockhampton there is plenty to do and see in the area including great food, art, adventure, sugar cane and bananas, and amazing beaches.
