Hygienist - Ponsonby

Well established Central Auckland general practice looking for an experienced hygienist who's a team player. 

About the practice and the role:

• Part time 20-30 hours per week with occasional Saturday if needed. Possibly more for the right clinician who can help build the patient base. 
• Long established practice in Ponsonby
• Loyal and large patient base with 5,000+ active recall patients
• If registered as an OHT, then you'll see DHB patients 
• Supported by an experienced team of dentists, dental assistants and support staff
• Providing general hygiene maintenance, teeth whitening, OHI education, ortho pre banding cleans with separator and ligature changing, bracket recementing, and taking orthodontic records
• High-end modern equipment includes Cavitron 360, Piezionn and EMS Airflow scalers, i/o scanners, 3D printer, Cerec Prime print for bite splints and mouth guards
• Registered GBT clinic
• Fully digital practice, with Exact and Pearl AI 
• Great team environment with mentoring and regular in house training sessions on topics/products and procedures by experienced OHT/hygienists and contractors to keep team members up to date
• Happy to train in 3D printing, etc.
• Mentoring can be provided for less experienced clinician
• Remuneration: 40% commission less lab fees or $45-$60 per hour based on experience
• Start date: March/April/May 2026

About you:

• 2+ Years similar clinical experience
• Botox/filler experience a definite advantage
• Passionate about oral health
• Gentle with bubbly personality
• Amazing clinical and communication skills
• Communicate effectively with a wide range of people confidently and tactfully
• Committed  to a long term role 
• Team player who enjoys working collaboratively within a team environment
