Life in Buller (the best bit):
Westport is a small town with a big personality. Think: affordable housing, daily flights to Wellington, great schools, and a welcoming community. On your doorstep you’ll find:

• The Heaphy Track, Old Ghost Road and Kawatiri Coastal Trail
• Punakaiki’s Pancake Rocks, seal colonies, rainforests and wild rivers
• White-water rafting, caving, surfing, mountain biking and fishing galore
Basically, if you like the outdoors, you’ll love it here. If you like friendly people and a slower pace (with good coffee, too), even better.
